Climatic chamber

The Heraeus Vötsch Climate testing cabinet HC 4020 is a climatic chamber that simulates and enables managing real environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity. The climatic chamber may accommodate  specimens of centimeter size that may be exposed to controlled cycles of temperature and relative humidity. Climatic tests may be applied to simulate freeze / thaw cycles of rocks and soils, as well as to the evaluate the effects of (micro-) climatic conditions on a variety of inorganic and organic materials, e.g. materials of interest for cultural heritage. HC 4020 operates in temperature range between 10 and 90°C and 10-98 % dampness
